Puppy Training

We believe in the power of positive reinforcement training and use reward based techniques to encourage your dog to learn new behaviours and commands. We believe that training should be enjoyable for both dogs and their owners,  helping you to bond with  your new furry family member

  Essential commands  of “sit”, “down”, “stay”  begin the foundation of a reliable recall. Loose lead walking , where your puppy will learn to walk calmly and confidently on a lead. Leave it , where your puppy will learn to leave things you don’t want them to have, which is vital to their safety.   Socialisation, the best ways to socialise your puppy to foster confidence and avoid future anxieties.   Positive play, learning to play with your puppy in the correct way, to promote positive behaviours and a strong bond 

   Refine those obedience skills and have fun with your dog. Our staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping dogs and their owners. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that both dogs and their owners feel comfortable and supported throughout the training process. We offer behaviour modification programmes that are designed to help dogs overcome unwanted behaviours such as aggression, separation anxiety and fear. Our trainers use a combination of training techniques to help dogs learn new coping mechanisms and develop positive associations.

There are 3 awards, if you wish to try for, Bronze, Silver and Gold. For each award you will be asked questions about  responsibility and care of your dog and then required to carry out various tests with your dog, such as the basic walking to heel leading up to an out of sight stay. The object is to test the knowledge of the handler and prepare your dog to thrive in real life situations. 

  Agility training is a fun and exciting way to challenge your dog both mentally and physically. Our agility classes are designed to help your dog build confidence, improve their coordination, and learn new skills. Whether you're looking for a new hobby or want to compete, we can help  Fun and great for relationship building 

  Unleash your dogs natural sniffing abilities    Scent work isn’t just about sniffing. It boosts their confidence and focus as they learn to use their nose to its full potential. It offers  mental stimulation resulting in a happier dog.   Getting started with scent training is simple, using minimal equipment, like hiding treats in  upturned flower pots, or toys to engage your dog in scent detection games

 The purpose designed training barn has an Astra turf surface. This is where all the dog classes take place. There is a fully equipped kitchen adjoining the barn which is
